Working with planned flights 

In this topic, you learn how to work with the flights in the PLANNED section of the Flight List.

2       Detailed Explanation 

Using the PLANNED section of the Flight List 

The PLANNED section of the Flight List contains flights for which flight plans have been computed in N-FP (for N-Flight Planning users).

You can view scheduled flights hours before their takeoff and with weather layers active, further analysis and evaluate the planned route.

Use the PLANNED section of the Flight List for your planning needs. For clients using N-FP, flights appear in this section as soon as a flight plan is computed in N-FP.

For planned flights, N-Tracking displays basic flight information on the Flight Details pane. 

The Flight Plan slider is inactive for the PLANNED section.

Flight plans do not continue to display on the map after you close the Flight Details pane. 

Customers who subscribe to Route Analysis can launch their analysis directly from the Flight Details pane.

N-Tracking launches route analysis.

The search results display the route string computed by N-FP and imported into N-Tracking. 

For now, close the Route List pane,

Launching Route Analysis from the Flight Details pane for planned flights provides Dispatchers/Ground Control more flexibility in performing their planning work.
