2 Detailed Explanation
This topic will teach how you can choose the color to use in the application
■ Warning information and aircraft symbols
■ Caution information and aircraft symbols
■ Tracked flights (own fleet)
■ My feet (flights allocated to my desk)
■ Other flights
The following default colors above are shown with their matching aircraft symbols. This is how they would be seen on the map. Let's have a look at how we can customize these colors.
Click the ADMIN dropdown button.
Click the Administration menu item.
Click the Color list item.
You can now see the current colors that are listed to the different categories in N-Tracking. These colors are not set and can be changed. Let's go and change the Caution Flight color.
All the colors have a code (#FF6600) this is the hexadecimal code (HEX)
these are the current codes that NAVBLUE have used. If you know the HEX code that you would like to use you can type it is here to change the colors.
If the box is greyed out then the code will not be able to be changed unless the checkbox is ticked.
Click the Caution Flight color checkbox.
Click the #FF6600 input field.
Now we have checked the checkbox we can see that the box has gone white which will enable us to change the HEX number. If you know the number you would like to use you can just type it in, otherwise clicking in the box will bring up a color picker.
The color picker will allow you to select a new color . We will not change the color in this example but you will be able to change the color by simply clicking in the box. This will automatically change the HEX number.
Remember to save your changes.
Your new custom color will be visible on the left side of the map under the associated category.
