Flight Details 

In this topic we cover the flight details screen.

Flight Details

The flight details screen allows you to configure the information available for flights and graphs when clicking on a specific flight. The following data is displayed:

 

        Flight number

        Cost index (currently not available as GW and Take Off Weight come from the flight plan)

        Position Source

        GW

        Take Off Weight

        Track

        Ground Speed

        Vertical Speed

        Altitude

        Flown distance (km)

        Flown distance (nm)

        Updated

        Remaining distance (km)

        Remaining distance (nm)

 
The displayed graph area shows a graphical representation of your flight. The tabs available are:

        Altitude

        ETA

        Notes
 

2       Detailed Explanation

Interaction 1 Click the ADMIN dropdown button.

Lets have a look at creating our own flight details. 

Interaction 2 Click the User Settings menu item.

Interaction 1 Click the Flight details list item.

You can now view the "Available" list where you can select a number of options to drag over to the "Visible" list. The visible list is the list that you see when selecting a flight. Let's go ahead and create a visible list.

Interaction 1 While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the Altitude object onto the Visible field object.

Interaction 1 While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the Remaining distance object onto the altitude object.

Interaction 1 While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the Ground Speed list item onto the Altitude list item.

Interaction 1 Click the Save button.

You have now added three new options into the "Visible" column. You can reorder the list if you need to. Let's now save our changes and have a look into a flight for these details.

You can see the three options that you chose to be visible. Let's now look at the displayed graph options.

Interaction 1 While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the horizontal scrollbar object down

You can see here that we already have three options visible. We will now move estimitaed time of arrival (ETA) over to the "Available" coloum so we wont see all three options when we click on a flight..

Interaction 1 While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ETA object onto the available field object.

You can see that only two tabs are visible. Click Save

You can now only see two options visible, altitude and notes. ETA has been removed.

You can also view the flight information by clicking on an aircraft, as well as using tthe list on the left. Click the aircraft to view the flight information.

You can now see all the flight information in your flight details. In this case we have four chosen options visible and three display graphs.
